Comfortable Stay with Major Room for Improvement

I enjoyed my family's stay for the night. we found the location convenient and the beds fairly comfortable. However, a strong cigarette smell in our room was off-putting. For future guests, I recommend checking your room carefully upon arrival, especially for cleanliness.

The breakfast had lots of options and we loved that it was close to the Trail of Louis L'Amour. It made for a fun outing. Just a heads up, some rooms might have issues with drapes not fully covering the windows, so keep that in mind.

Unfortunately, we had a friend who faced a problem with room cleanliness. They found a stained duvet, which was a bit off-putting.

The room cleanliness left something to be desired as well, with dust and hair in the bathroom. There was also some noise from neighboring rooms, which affected my sleep. Staff interactions were varied. some were friendly, but others didn't seem very accommodating. Overall, it had potential but could use some significant improvements in upkeep and guest communication.

We really enjoyed our stay here, especially the complimentary breakfast with those delicious cinnamon rolls! The location was perfect for visiting the nearby Trail of Louis L'Amour, which my kids loved. It was nice to have a spacious standard room for our family.
